Overview: A majority of the races take place at Mt. Werner and Howelsen Hill. The courses vary, including hill climb and cross country. The Town Challenge Mountain Bike Series is open to male and female participants, youth and adults. It caters to both recreational and competitive bikers with separate age categories for men and women in four skill-level groups: Novice, Sport, Expert, and Pro/Semi-Pro.

Details: Youth divisions are also available as well as youth clinics offered during race weeks. Each race is followed by a post-race party at a local restaurant with all racers eligible for random prize giveaways. All races start at 5:30 pm. More kids are competing in Steamboat's Town Challenge series, also. That is way cool! The kids are out there to have fun but don't be fooled, their competitive spirit is very much alive and well.
