Steamboat Springs Colorado lies in the Yampa Valley in the Northwestern Colorado Rockies at a base elevation of 6,700 ft.  The area is considered a prime winter vacation destination. The name Steamboat actually refers to a complete mountain range consisting of several individual mountains: Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Pioneer Ridge and Christie Peak. These mountains provide 2,939 acres of permitted terrain which offer a diversity of ski trails for all levels of skiing ability. The valley and the surrounding mountain peaks that reach a height in excess of 11,000 feet, offer the right environment for all types of winter activities in addition to skiing.

You can snowmobile, horseback ride, sleigh ride or get a massage.
