Hayden Colorado Airport

The Hayden Airport (HDN) is a small but convenient airport with a passenger terminal and lounge. Its proximity makes getting to Steamboat Springs much easier, especially in the winter months. The airport services major airlines including American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Frontier, and United, with connecting services to pretty much anywhere and non-stop flights to nine major cities. Although it may be a bit pricier than flying into a larger airport like Denver, the convenience of its location makes it worth flying into. Check for cheaper fares by traveling on days in the middle of the week.

There are a couple shuttle services that provide transportation from the airport into Steamboat Springs for a set fee. Steamboat Springs Transit also has bus services connecting Hayden to the city center of Steamboat Springs, but you may have to find transport actually into the town of Hayden. There are also car rental services and taxis available at the airport. Sometimes certain hotels or lodges provide an airport pick up/drop off service.
