Appropriately named, Steamboat Springs, Colorado offers a number of hot pools where the water temperatures reach 104 degrees or higher.  The area contains beautiful botanical gardens, and various scenic hiking and biking trails. In this area, you can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and/or fishing.  Trails for hiking and biking range from easy to extreme and can be traveled by any age group with the appropriate skill level.   Guides and outfitters are available for mountain biking, hiking and horseback trail rides.

 

Dawn you favorite cowboy hat, tie a kerchief around your neck and enjoy the fun of working on an authentic working cattle ranch.  Or you can just saunter on over to the local stables and arrange for an hour or two on horseback.  An additional activity not found just anywhere is state of the art motor glider rides that allow you to soar thousands of feet above the valley floor.  If you try this adventure, then you will certainly understand why birds sing.  If more motorized flight is what you seek, you can try a helicopter tour of the area.
