Ongoing Summer Events
Ongoing summer events in Steamboat Springs provide a multitude of fun things to do for the whole family. If you plan on being in the area this summer, don't forget to attend some of the town's main summer attractions.
Alpine Slide. Perhaps Steamboat's favorite attraction, the Howler Alpine Slide is something you shouldn't miss. As you ride a chairlift to the top of Howelsen Hill, you get to take in the many beautiful scenes of downtown Steamboat Springs.
Boat Rentals. Consider renting a boat at the Stagecoach Marina at Stagecoach Reservoir and Steamboat Lake Marina at Steamboat Lake if you want to go out on the water with your family to enjoy nature up close. Rent a pontoon boat and enjoy a floating picnic, or just rent a canoe or fishing boat and take advantage of the excellent fishing in the area.
Bungee Tramp. The Slingshot Trampoline Bungee Jump is a unique attraction that transforms bungee jumping into a fun event that is just as safe as jumping on a trampoline. The controlled environment makes this a good attraction for families.
Disc Golf. If you have excellent Frisbee skills, give this nine-hole disc golf course a try. Located at the bottom of the ski mountain, the entire family will enjoy this activity.
East Face Climbing Wall. The East Face Climbing Wall is a 24-foot climbing wall suitable for the whole family. All climbers are given an automatic belay system and adjustable harness, so this activity can be enjoyed independently or with a group of people.
