Hahns Peak Lake
Hahns Peak is the largest peak in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Once you reach the top you won't believe the views. On top of the peak a fire lookout once operated for many years, until the early 1970s.
Hahns Peak Lake is a great place to have some outdoor fun. The area provides wonderful opportunities to go camping, either in developed campgrounds or in dispersed camping around the Hahns Peak/Steamboat Lake vicinity.
The lake is situated along the base of Hahn's Peak in northern Colorado; nearby you'll find Steamboat Lake State Park. This park has amazing natural landscapes and tons of fun recreational activities for the whole family. Steamboat Lake is one of the main attractions of Colorado, and is open in all seasons. Fantastic fishing, camping, and boating opportunities are available as well. A full-service marina and swim beach will occupy your family for hours on end.
Steamboat Lake in the winter offers its own attractions. Ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling along 60 miles of trail are just some of the things you can do when you arrive. On top of everything, a 1,053-acre reservoir is great in the summer when you want to enjoy the sun and water.
